On this page, you need to select a domain name to which you want to install your blog.  Here you can select some options for your blog:

  • You can install WordPress on a domain without using www with your domain name. For example, you can use com instead of www.theblogtown.com. I will suggest you to not to use www with the domain name. The reason is it will keep your domain name short, which will be easy to share on social media like Twitter. The most important are, www in the domain name is not of much use.
  • You can install your blog in a subdirectory. For example yourdomain.com/blog, here blog is the subdirectory and yourdomain.com are the names of the domain. Though, most of the bloggers create a static page as homepage, and create a blog on a separate page, instead of installing it on sub-directory.

Select the domain name and click on next button.
